- Ernest E. Cox, 56, of Route 104 died Monday in the town of Albion after apparently suffering a heart attack. A native of Syracuse, Mr. Cox lived in Parish 15 years. He was a truck driver and furniture mover with Kings Storage, Syracuse. Surviving are seven sons, Ernest Jr. of Taft, Fla., Donald of Central Square, Robert of Constantia, David and Jason, both of Syracuse, James of West Monroe and Yancy of Parish; two daughters, Helen Barr of East Syracuse and Michelle Cox of Syracuse; a brother, Kenneth of Syracuse; 18 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harter-Olmstead Funeral Home, Parish, the Rev. Donald Easton officiating. Spring burial will be in Hannibal Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 7430 W. Main St.
