He married May Evans, having two sons David T. & John E., after her death he then married Jane Ellis Evans, they had several children; Edward, Mary, Maldwyn, Christmas (Ruth, Margaret, Ethyl, Jane and Rahel were born in the US). John and Jane, with the children, immigrated to America, departing Liverpool, England on Jan 30 and arriving at Ellis Island, NY on Feb 8, 1907. From there they settled briefly in Ohio before moving to the Steuben area, Oneida Co, NY. He was a life long farmer.
