    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 26, 1895 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - At Three Oaks, Michigan, June 23, 1895, Edson Goit Ingersoll. Mr. Ingersoll was born in the town of Richland, March 15, 1830. In 1847 he moved to Wisconsin with his father's family, with the exception of Archibald. In 1852, in company with his brother Archibald, he went to California. He worked in the mines for nearly six years, when he returned east. Mr. Ingersoll was married to Emily Paddock, who survives him. Soon after the marriage he settled in the place where he passed his last days. Archibald Ingersoll, of Lacona, is the only survivor of his father's large family. Thus have passed away, except one, the grandchildren of one of the first settlers of the town of Richland.
