- Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 15, 1905 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Albion Cross Roads - Died, at Parish, New York, March 10, 1905, of pneumonia, Lena May, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burton F. Mowers, aged 5 months and 19 days. Lena May was second child and only daughter of Burton F. and May E. Mowers and was born September 18, 1904 and on the morning of March 10th, after an illness of only two days, her angelic spirit took its flight, leaving a vacant place in the home and in the hearts of all who knew her. Although in this sudden bereavement the parents and brother are filled with sorrow, the sweet influence of that bright, short life will prove an incentive to lead them to a higher life, and with confidence they can look to "Him who doeth all things well" and say: She has gone, only gone out of pain, and into bliss. Out of sad and sinful weakness, Into perfect holiness. Snowy brow, no care shall shade it, Bright eyes, no tears shall ever dim. Rosy lips, no time shall fade them, Jesus called her unto Him."
