- RUTH POTTER DAVIS OF PULASKI DIES AT AGE 92

Ruth Potter Davis, 92, of 7401 Lake St., died Sunday at Hallmark Nursing Center, Minoa, after a long illness.
The spring funeral will be private. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home.
Surviving are two sons, John A. Jr., Beacon, and Richard P., Vero Beach, Fla., eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A son, Capt. George Harold Davis, died before her.
Born March 21, 1903, in Pulaski, daughter of William and Jessie Gilson Potter, she married John A. Davis on May 24, 1922, in Pulaski. Mr. Davis, former Oswego County welfare commissioner, died Aug. 14, 1967.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Pulaski Congregational Church and Pulaski Chapter 157, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a state Republican committeewoman for Oswego County for 16 years.
