Newspaper Obituary - January 11, 1962 Pulaski Democrat - Mrs. J. Potter Taken by Death - Mrs. Pearl E. Potter, 74, widow of John W. Potter, died Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Plummer in Altmar. She had been in ill health some time. Services were held Monday at 2 p. m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Altmar with the Rev. Robert Murphy, pastor of the Orwell Union Church, officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery at Orwell. Surviving are two sons, Adin M. Potter of Vero Beach, Fla., and Blind Creek Cove on Lake Ontario; and Parker J .Potter of Westernville; three daughters, Mrs. George (Violet) Plummer of Altmar, Mrs. Frank (Grace) Krumenacker of Oceanside, L. 1. and Mrs. Frank (Lucy) Sanderson of Richland; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Colvin of Copenhagen; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Flagg of Woodville, Mrs. Anna Mae Brown of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Anson (Goldie) Fuller of Carthage. Mrs. Potter was born at Orwell on Aug. 21, 1887, the daughter of Orin H. and Lucy Montondo Colvin. She was married to Mr. Potter June 15, 1905. She was a member of the Orwell Rebekah Lodge, 236, and of the Past Noble Grands Club. Mr. Potter died Nov 13, 1947.
