- Adelbert Anson, 79, Passes Away at Ricard
Camden, Sept. 20-Adelbert Anson, 79, former resident of this village, died Saturday at Ricard where he had lived for the past five years. He had been in poor health for several months.
He was born in the Town of Annsville, a son of the late Henry and Frances Harrington Anson. Sixty years ago in Taberg he married Miss Cecilia Obsorne. For many years he was employed as a railroad carpenter.
Surviving besides his widow, are nine children; Burt Anson of Camden, Arthur Anson, Mrs. Stephen DeLauney, Mrs. Robert Paulson and Charles Anson, all of Syracuse, Mrs. Harry Williams of Watertown, Mrs. Homer Quance of Hartford, Conn., and Mrs. Myrtle Pickworth of Rochester. He leaves also 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
