Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, April 2, 1904 The Daily Palladium - Oswego, New York - Found Dead in Bed - Richland, April 2 - Augustus Harmon, sixty-eight years of age, a well-known farmer living on the Centerville road about half a mile from this village, was found dead in bed by his wife this morning. Besides a widow, he is survived by one son, Ora.

Harmon died very suddenly Friday, about 3 a.m. He retired feeling the best he had in several weeks. About 2:30 his wife was awakened by his making a peculiar sound and before aid could be secured for him he had passed away. The funeral was held Tuesday, at 1 p.m. Burial in Brookside cemetery at Richland.

Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 13, 1904 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Richland - The funeral of Augustus B. Harmon, who died suddenly with heart trouble, last Friday, April 1, was held at Christ church, Tuesday, April 5, at 1 p.m. Rev. Chamberlain, of Auburn, preached the sermon, taking for his text II Cor., 5:19. Mr. Harmon had resided here nearly all his life. He had been married forty-four years and was born in 1834. He was a carpenter by trade and helped to build the church from which the funeral services were held. The Rev. Chamberlain gave the dedication address when the church was opened in 18_8.
