    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 25, 1883 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Redfield - October 10, 1883. Died at his residence in this village, George McKinney, in the 87th year of his age. Thus passes away, full of years, one of Redfield's oldest and most respected neighbor and citizen. He was generous and enterprising, he labored early and late to the advancement of the material interest of Redfield in her early settlement. He was a man of great force of character and positive opinion and a firm friend. Socially he was one of the most genial and agreeable of men, he was brilliant and entertaining in conversation with an inexhaustible fund of anecdotes and was as kindhearted as he was entertaining and enterprising. He was a marked citizen in our community and his death is most sincerely regretted by all who knew him.
