- MARY PIZON, WIDOW OF EX-PULASKI MAN, DIES

Mary T. Pizon, 59, Brooklyn, widow of former Pulaski resident Matthew Mage'' Pizon, died Wednesday in Brooklyn.
A graveside committal service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Pulaski Cemetery, with Rev. Anthony Keeffe, pastor of St. John's Catholic Church, officiating.
Calling hours will be 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park St.
Surviving are two sons, John and Michael, and a daughter, Ann Marie, all of New York City; her father, John Vozila, New York City, and two grandchildren.
Born in Lower Manhattan on Aug. 15, 1928, a daughter of John and Anastasia Heffchuck Vozila, she was graduated from high school in Manhattan.
She married former Pulaski resident Matthew Pizon in Manhattan. Mr. Pizon, a native of West Virginia, died at 42 in November 1961 as a result of a fall while serving as a merchant seaman aboard the U.S.S. President Harding.
Mrs. Pizon was employed at one time by the Hartford Insurance Co. in Manhattan. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
