Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 4, 1945 Syracuse Herald-Journal - Syracuse, New York - Mrs. Martineau Buried in Richland - Pulaski ¬Mrs. Fannie Irons Martineau, 67, died at her home in Richland yesterday. She was the widow of Charles Martineau. Mrs. Martineau was born on March 27, 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thurlow Irons of Onondaga County, near Pompey. She lived her early years around Syracuse, and passed the last 41 years in Richland. Surviving are six daughters. Mrs. Carl Kurtz and Mrs. George Hawlot, Liverpool; Mrs. Arnold Anson, Utica; Mrs. E. W. Pice, Pennellville; Mrs. Roy King, Richland, and Mrs. Lyle Stevens, Canastota; four sons, Charles F. Edwin C., Richland; Keith C. Mattydale and Stanley C., United States Army at Lowrey Field, Colorado; a sister. Mrs. R. E. Davis, Syracuse; two half-sisters, Mrs. John Miller, Cazenovia and Mrs. Albert Reidl, Cazenovia; a half-brother, Harry Irons of Hornell, and 24 grandchildren.
