    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 22, 1902 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Kasoag - William J. Tanner, son of William and Mary Tanner passed away on Friday, January 17. He was twenty-seven years old and had been a great sufferer all his life. The immediate cause of his death was dropsy and heart trouble. His death was very unexpected as he died while walking across the room. Notwithstanding his poor health he was a great help to his people. The announcement of his death was received with sincere sorrow by his numerous friends. The funeral was held at the house Monday at 11 a.m., Rev. Grosh officiating. Interment at Williamstown.
