    • Newspaper Obituary - April 29, 2010 Augusta Chronicle - JoAnn Carr, 75, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Elta Mae Baldwin; brothers, Paul and Charles Baldwin; sister, Louise Thompson. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She liked to go shopping, playing cards and spending time with her family. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Gordon Carr; daughter, Cathy (Dean) Carter; sons, Robert (Brenda) Carr and "Tiger" Alan Carr; two grandchildren, Jennifer Neal and Julie Cochran; two great grandchildren; brother, J. M. Baldwin; sister, Shirley Bizeur; and several nieces and nephews; and her devoted pets Dooley and Gracie. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to her care givers Pam Wood and Tammie Wintley. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Chapel of Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alliance Hospice, 3685 Old Petersburg Road, Augusta, Georgia 30907.
