- Earl S. Hutt, 76, resident of Pulaski, was stricken with a heart attack while driving his car on the Ridge Road near Lacona about 3:30 Thursday afternoon, November 15,1945 and is believed to have died almost instantly. The car, out of control, left the road and went through a ditch and a wire fence before stopping. Mrs. Hutt and her brother, Charles Hamlin, passengers in the car, were uninjured except for minor bruises and shock.
Mr. Hutt was born in Williamstown November 1, 1869, son of Austin W. and Anna Spink Hutt and had lived in Pulaski for many years. He was a member of the Masonic lodge, the IOOF at Pulaski and the fire department.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ellen Hutt; two sons, Capt. William L. Hutt, Forth Benning, Ga., and Arlo Hutt, Grand Rapids, Mich., two sisters, Mrs. Ana West, Lacona, and Mrs. Nellie French, Pulaski; two grandchildren, Marjorie Elaine and Earl Robert Hut; a nephew, Clinton French; and a niece, Mrs. Arthur DeLong.
