- Joseph W. Gressler, 76
Joseph W. Gressler, 76, of Rainbow Shores, Pulaski, N.Y., died after a brief illness in St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, N.Y., June 26, 1980.
He was the son of the late George M. and Emma Hayes Gressler. Mr. Gressler was a native of St. Johnsville, N.Y., raised in Little Falls, N.Y. and a resident of Pulaski, N.Y. since 1945. He was employed as a rigger, for Syracuse Rigging Co., Syracuse, N.Y. retiring in 1972.
He was a member of the International Association of Bridge Structional and Ornamental Iron Works and Local No. 60, Syracuse, N.Y. He was a communicate of St. John's Evangelist Church, Pulaski, N.Y.
Survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Nooan Gressler, Pulaski, a son Jospeh W. Gressler, Jr., Watertown. Three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Joanne) Mazzoli, New Haven, N.Y., Mrs. Emma Christensen, Utica, N.Y., Mrs. William (Margaret) Gregory, North Carolina. Twelve grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Louise) Salisbury, Mattydale, N.Y., Mrs. Floyd (Geraldine) Nolan, Pulaski, N.Y., a brother, Charles Gressler, Clifton Park, N.Y.
Services were at 9 a.m., Monday at Taylor-Vida Funeral Home, Pulaski, N.Y.
A mass of christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., St. John's Evangelist Church, Pulaski, N.Y. Interment was in Pulaski Cemetery,. Pulaski, N.Y.
Calling hours were Saturday, 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
