      Bernice J. Hurd, 73, of North Road, Pulaski RD 2, died Sunday at Community-General Hospital.

      She was born in Pulaski. She graduated from Pulaski Academy and High School in 1933. She was employed by the Pulaski Academy Central School cafeteria. She also owned and operated a dairy farm on the North Road with her husband.

      She was a member of Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski and the Pulaski Grange 730. She formerly was a member of the Rising Sun Rebecca Lodge.

      Surviving are her husband, Anson C.; one son, John F. of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Albert R. and Robert J. Johnson, both of Pulaski; three sisters, Madaline Thompson of Syracuse, Dorothy Tubbs of Pulaski and Alice Zufelt of Camillus; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

      Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday in Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski, the Rev. Earl M. Smith officiating. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

      There will be no calling hours.

      Foster-Hax Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

      Contributions may be made to Park United Methodist Church or Northern Oswego County Ambulance, both in Pulaski.
