Marie Ellis Barnard, 77, formerly of Altmar, died Tuesday at Rome City Hospital.
Mrs. Barnard was a native of Altmar. She was a private-duty nurse and retired from the Evergreen Nursing Home, Pulaski. Mrs. Barnard was a graduate of Pulaski Academy High School and the Syracuse University School of Nursing. Her husband, Robert, died in 1982.
Surviving are two daughters, Susanne DeWolfe of the Bahamas and Nellie Falk of Rome; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 7385 Park St.
