Funeral services for Dorothy A. Barker, 69, of Route 11 North, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter in Sandy Creek, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Spring burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 7385 Park St.
Mrs. Barker, a Syracuse native, graduated from Altmar Union High School in 1940 and lived in Altmar for 56 years before moving to Pulaski in 1978. She and her daughter, Diane Manwaring, owned and managed Ma Barker's Tavern in Pulaski since 1978.
Her husband, Donald E., died in 1977.
Mrs. Barker was a charter member, past president, treasurer and secretary of Altmar Russell Tryon Post 1435 American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Jack S. of Altmar; four daughters, Donna L. Walter of Maine, Diane Manwaring of Sandy Creek, Deborah Archibee of Orwell and Denise Sobotka of Parish; a sister, Francis Michel of Baldwinsville; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
