Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 25, 2006 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Elizabeth "Lillian" Weber, 84, formerly of Pulaski and Woodville, died Sunday at Florida Hospital, Zephyrhills, Florida. Born December 19, 1921, in Hammond, daughter of Pat and Hazel Drake Vrooman, she graduated in 1939 from Pulaski High School. She married George W. Weber on March 24, 1940. The couple owned and operated a dairy farm in Pulaski for 33 years. They moved to Woodville in 1986 and spent winters in Florida. Mr. Weber died July 15, 1997. Mrs. Weber was a 4-1-1 leader, a member of the Home Bureau and a former member of the Fernwood Baptist Church and Pulaski Wesleyan Church. Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Patricia Ann and George Cruzan, Bridgeton, New Jersey; two brothers and their wives, Walter and Dorothy Vrooman, Mexico, and Wendell "Pete" and Norma Vrooman, Pulaski, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mary Lou Weber, died in 2000. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Foster-Flax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., with the Rev. Rupert L. "Bud" Fancy officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. A calling hour will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
