    • Vivian A. Rastley, 70, of 12 Richter Drive, died Friday at her home.

      Mrs. Rastley and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for more than 20 years.

      She was a 34-year member and past president of Pulaski American Legion Auxiliary, Robert Edwards Post 358 and a 31-year member of Lacona Cable Trail Auxiliary, Post 8534.

      Born Feb. 8, 1933, in Madrid, daughter of Frank and Tacy May Clark Hartwick, she lived in Gouverneur in her early life and attended schools there, moving to Pulaski in 1961.

      She married John H. Rastley Sr. on Dec. 22, 1962. Mr. Rastley died June 1, 1999. She had been married previously.

      Surviving are two sons, John Phillips and John H. Rastley Jr., both of Bernhards Bay; two daughters, Bonnie Dence, Sandy Pond, and Melissa Granger, Pulaski; a brother, David Hartwick, Locke; 12 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.

      A sister, Violet Smith, died before her.

      The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
