  HURD Post-Standard, The (Syracuse, NY) - October 8, 2005Browse Issues Anson C. Hurd October 6, 2005 Anson C. Hurd, age 89, life resident of Pulaski, died Thursday at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown. He was born on March 22, 1916, in Pulaski, the son of John and Mary Fry Hurd. He attended Pulaski Academy High School and married Bernice J. Johnson on May 31, 1934, in Pulaski; she died January 17, 1988. He owned and operated a dairy farm for 45 years, retiring in 1977. Anson was a member of the Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski Grange, and was a former trustee of Lincoln National Bank. Surviving are one son, John F. Hurd of Fort Wayne, IN, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Park United Methodist Church with Rev. Marilyn Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Park United Methodist Church, Hubble Street, Pulaski, 13142.
