Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, September 27, 1888 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Albion - Died, in south Richland, September 17, 1880, Hannah W. Douglass, widow of Deacon Abel Douglass, aged 79 years, 1 month and 26 days. The funeral was held at the house September 19. Rev. Barnes, of Mexico, preached the sermon from the words, "Christ all and in all." She was baptized by Elder Samuel Davison and united with the South Richland Baptist Church nearly fifty years ago, of which she was a faithful member on until her death. For nearly 3 years she was a very great sufferer and often expressed a wish to be released and be at rest. She was tenderly cared for by her son, Deacon O. J. Douglass and wife, with whom she lived, and for most of the last year by her niece, Mary Douglass. An aged sister is all that is left on a large family.
