Former area resident Kimberly A. Haldane Apmann, 28, of Darien, Conn., diedO Friday at Yale New Haven Hospital from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Mrs. Apmann was a native of Buffalo. She had lived in Sandy Creek from 1966 to 1988. She had lived in Boston and Darien for the past seven years.
She graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1984 and SUNY Plattsburgh in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
She was employed by the Yale New Haven Hospital as a registered nurse in the medical intensive care unit for four years. She had worked at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, Mass., in the cardiac care unit for three years.
Mrs. Apmann was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Pulaski. She attended St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Wilton, Conn.
Surviving are her husband, Michael K.; her parents, the Rev. Richard and Jacquelyn C. Clay of Sandy Creek; three brothers, John S. Haldane of Richmond, Va., Eric B. Haldane of Albuquerque, N.M., and Andrew T. Haldane of Sandy Creek; three stepsisters, Melissa A. Clay and Amy T. Clay, both of Syracuse and Melanie L. Yildizlar of Istanbul, Turkey.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Episcopal Church, Pulaski, the Rev. RT. David B. Joslin, and the Rev. Walter Giles, officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
