    • PULASKI BUSINESS MAN DIES

Clayton Sylvester Parker, 25, one of Pulaski's youngest business men, passed away Sunday morning at 1 o'clock following an illness of ten days with pneumonia. He was born May 10, 1893, in Syracuse, where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Parker then lived. The family moved to Pulaski 18 years ago, where the husband and father died a few months later. The junior Parker was a graduate of the Pulaski High school, class of 1909 and then took a course in electrical engineering. About four years ago he opened a business place in Pulaski which he conducted until stricken by influenza. He was a member of the Citizens club and of Pulaski lodge, F. and A. M., Pulaski chapter, R.A.M., and secratary of the Citizens band. Besides his widow he is survived by two daughters, Mary and Anna Parker: his mother, Mrs. M. Clarritta Parker, and a brother, Edward S. Parker, both of Pulaski. He was married about three years ago to Miss Anna M. Bambury of Orwell, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. T.T. Davies, pastor of the congregational church, Sandy Creek, who officiated at private funeral services held at the family home in Lake street at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning. Burial made in the Pulaski cemetery.
