      of the -Pulaski Democrat writes:
      Ira Joslyn died at his home. June 30, of softening of the brain and paralysis. He suffered long, but death came to his relief. The funeral was attended at the M.E. church on Sunday. He leaves a wife and relatives in Sandy Creek, Mr. Joslyn has lived in our midst for years, and in health was a good and much esteemed citizen. The interment was made in the Willis cemetery. H. R. Northtip preached, an excellent sermon.
