MEXICO - Earl C. Parker 67, of Mexico, died Sunday
evening in the Evergreen Nursing home in Mannsville. Mr. Parker was the son of the late Edward and Frederica Shutts Parker. Mr. Parker was s graduate of the Mexico Academy and the Albany School of Pharmacy and was employed at the John C. Taylor drug store here for many years. He later joined his father in the plumbing business. In later years he was employed at Beck's Hotel Mr. Parker was the first soldier from Mexico to leave in World War I and served as a first aid man. He was the first commander of the Stone Davis Post, American Legion and was a member of the First
Methodist church, the Mexico Lodge, 136. F&AM. and local chapter of the Royal Arch Masons. He was also a former volunteer fireman and was a member of the former Mexico American- Legion band. Burial will be in Mexico Village cemetery. Legion services will be conducted Tuesday
