WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Bella Dorothy Turgeon of Winter Haven died of heart failure Friday, (June 20, 2003) at Mariner Health of Winter Haven. She was 91.
Born in Pulaski, N.Y. on April 22, 1912, she came here from Pulaski in 1979. She was a stenographer in the secretarial industry.
Mrs. Turgeon was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward H. Bateman and second husband, Charles Turgeon. She is survived by her son, Edward Bateman, Mexico, N.Y.; daughters, Dorothy Zufelt, Pulaski, N.Y. and Carol Cavanaugh, Winter Haven; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.

Bella Bateman Turgeon, 91, passed away on June 20, 2003, at Mariner Health Center in Winter Haven, Florida. Bella lived with her first husband Edward H. Bateman in Pulaski and Florida. He predeceased her in 1983. She later married Charles Turgeon of Watertown, NY, who died in 1987.
She is survived by her three children: Edward H. Bateman, Mexico, NY; Dorothy B. Zufelt, Pulaski, NY; and Carol Cavanaugh, Winter Haven, Florida. She had 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in the Pulaski Cemetery.
