- LYONS - Matthew J. Masuicca, 57, of Lyons, died Feb. 23, 2017 at Unity Hospital in Rochester.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of Thomas S. Masuicca Sr. of Pulaski, and the late Judith A. (Moody) Masuicca.
Matthew worked as a commercial truck driver for Wadhams Enterprise in Phelps, and previously for Swift Transportation in Syracuse.
He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving besides his father, are his daughters, Pamela VanMeter, of Oswego; Alicia (Harold) Bishop, of DeKelb; and Tabitha Jaquin, of Lyons; his brothers, Thomas J. Masuicca Jr., Andrew Masuicca, and Christopher Masuicca; his eight grandchildren, Jake White, Sierra VanMeter, Judith Burns, Bernard Roe IV, Dunken McGill, Alexia Burns, Hailey Bishop and Xavier Bishop; and several nieces and nephews.
Matthew was predeceased by his grandson, Vincent Jacquin.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
