Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 23, 1961 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Held for Lynn Morgan - Lynn Morgan, 78, a lifelong resident of Pulaski, died early Thursday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Watertown. He had been a patient there two weeks and underwent major surgery on Monday. Services were held Sunday at 2 p. in. at the Taylor Funeral Home with the Rev. W. Russell Clark, pastor of Park Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery. Bearers were: Clifford Montondo, Reginald Broome, LaFayette Petrie, James Gaffney, John Schneider, and Robert Boyd. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Jewell Morgan; a sister, Mrs. Maurice (Flossie) Gates of Pulaski; a nephew, Richard Gates of Pulaski and a niece, Mrs. Leo (Jane) Doran of Syracuse and several cousins. Mr. Morgan was born in the Lehigh District on September 26, 1883 and was a son of Arthur and Amelia Montondo Morgan. He was educated in the Pulaski school and was associated with the Pulaski Motor Sales for several years. He worked for Enos & Morton many years and was a former member of the Ringgold Fire Company. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan operated the old Pulaski House for many years until it was destroyed by fire in October 1960. He was a member of Park Methodist Church
