George D. King, 77, Ricard Road, died Tuesday at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse.
A prayer service will be at 9 a.m. Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park St., Pulaski, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Williamstown. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Williamstown.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy C.; four sons, Donald G., Amesburry, Mass., Charles D., Orwell, Arthur H., Williamstown, and Ronald R., Ricard; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Born in Orwell on Feb. 19, 1912, the son of Delost and Alta Kellogg King, he attended Ricard district schools, and married Dorothy Perrigo on Dec. 15, 1934.
Mr. King resided in the Ricard/Orwell area all his life. He was last employed by Camden Wire for 10 years, retiring in 1976. He was previously employed by the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown School District for several years, and the Oswego County Highway Department. He also owned and operated a dairy farm in Orwell.
Mr. King was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Williamstown.
