      Watertown Daily Times (NY) - March 12, 1990

      Edward P. Pacific, 60, of 7515 Price Drive, died Saturday in Walker Memorial Hospital, Avon Park, Fla.

      A prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park St., and the funeral will be at 10 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

      He is survived by his wife, Anna; his father, Peter Pacific, Pulaski; a daughter, Pamela Reynolds, Lacona; a brother, Richard, Brewerton; two sisters, Joanne Recor, North Syracuse, and Patricia Peterson, Pulaski; three grandchildren.

      A brother, Joseph, died Jan. 16.

      Born in Oswego May 13, 1929, the son of Peter and Mary Salesi Pacific, he was graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1947. Mr. Pacific was a life-long resident of Pulaski.

      He served in the Navy from 1950 to 1954 and married Anna Saltalamachia May 30, 1956, in St. Louis Church, Oswego, with the Rev. Vincent Mirabito officiating.

      Mr. Pacific was employed by the U.S. Post Office in Pulaski for 30 years, the last 20 of which he was a rural letter carrier, retiring in 1985.

      Since his retirement, he had been a winter resident of Frostproof, Fla.

      Mr. Pacific was a member of St. John's Church, the Robert Edwards Post 358 American Legion, and the New York State Rural Letter Carriers Association.
