Eleanor L. Miles, 75, of 202 Halsey Road, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.
Mrs. Miles was a life resident of Pulaski. At the time of her marriage, she was secretary at the Oswego County 4-H Club office. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church.
Born May 12, 1923, at Pulaski, daughter of Willard and Mabel Kells Manwaring, she graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1941. She married Charles A. Miles on Jan. 3, 1948, at the Methodist Church with the Rev. James Pauley officiating.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Thomas M., Pulaski, and Charles P., Lacona; a daughter, Sherrie A. Miles, Pulaski; a brother Willard "Spike" Manwaring, Pulaski; a sister, Fritz Dobiac, New Port Richey, Fla.; two grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Mary Jane Tighe, died Feb. 8, 1997.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowrey, pastor of Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
