Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, January 7, 1978 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Services for John Wansink, 78, of Lacey Road, RD 1, who died Friday at his home, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery in the spring. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Born in Holland, he resided in New Jersey and Iowa before moving here in 1928. Mr. Wansink and his wife owned and operated a farm on the Lacey Road. He was a member of Lodge 415, F.& A.M., and the South Richland Grange, and served for 10 years on the Pulaski Academy and Central School Board. Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Lacey; a son, Dirk; two daughters, Mrs. Janice Bech of Easton, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Elizabeth Black of Detroit, Oregon; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Dick of Sheldon, Iowa, and Henry of Livingston, Montana, and a sister, Mrs. Styne Wiglama of Sheldon, Iowa.
