  Class of 1944 PACS WILLIAM C. MAHAFFY - PULASKI NATIVE Watertown Daily Times (NY) - May 7, 2003 William Charles Mahaffy, 76, Liverpool, formerly of Pulaski, died Monday in Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Mr. Mahaffy served with the Army Air Corps during World War II and was a manufacturer's representative in the electrical equipment field. Born June 13, 1926, in Pulaski, son of Yates and Della Babcock Mahaffy, he was a graduate of Pulaski Academy High School and Syracuse University. He married Marjorie E. Clark on Dec. 27, 1947, at the First Methodist Church, Sandy Creek, with the Rev. Herbert Harrison officiating. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Liverpool. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Clark, Constantia, and Richard, Manlius; three brothers, Yates, Paul and Willard, all of Pulaski; a sister, Barbara Wilder, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; five grandchildren, a niece and several nephews. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 604 Oswego St., Liverpool, N.Y. 13088.
