- BETHAL C. FALVEY, PULASKI, DIES AT AGE OF 73

Bethal C. Falvey, 73, of 7383 Salina St., died Saturday afternoon at the Hill Haven Nursing Home, Syracuse, following a lengthy illness.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Redfield Community Church. Burial will be in Redfield Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park St. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Redfield Community Church.
Surviving are a son, Charles, Saco, Maine; two daughters, Beverly McEachern, Herkimer, and Mrs. Patricia Sagnella, Mattydale, and eight grandchildren.
Born in Redfield Sept. 23, 1914, a daughter of Harry and Alice Waterbury Crow, she was graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1935.
On April 16, 1936, she married Carl E. Falvey in Florence. He died in February 1965.
The couple had owned and operated the Ben Lewis House, Redfield. Following Mr. Falvey's death, Mrs. Falvey filled his unexpired term as supervisor in the Town of Redfield. Then, in 1967, she moved to Pulaski where she was employed as a cook by Seeley's Restaurant and the Log Cabin Restaurant. In 1968, she purchased the Pulaski Diner on Salina Street. She retired in 1985 as manager of the Oswelewgois Club in Redfield.
