Newspaper Obituary - Monday, April 17, 2000 Syracuse Herald Journal - Syracuse, New York - Harry Jamerson, 72, of 243 E. 10th Street, Oswego, formerly of Syracuse, died Sunday at home. Born in Mexico, he was a Syracuse resident for 17 years before moving to Oswego recently. He formerly worked at the Rescue Mission in Syracuse and the Mexico Independent newspaper. Survivors: His wife of 46 years, the former Marjorie Wyman; four daughters, Theresa Sterio of Fulton, Sue Bakos of Oswego, Ellen Jamerson of Central Square and Cindy Millet of Cicero; six sons, John of Mexico, Richard of Virginia, Ted of Oswego, Joseph of Fulton, Larry of Virginia and Daniel of Oswego; two brothers, Richard of Illinois and Roger of Mexico; 13 grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sugar and Scanlon Funeral Home. Burial, South Richland Cemetery. Calling hours, 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
