Genevieve Morrison Porter, 84, Springbrook Apartments, died Thursday at St. Luke's Nursing Home, Oswego.
Mrs. Porter owned and operated Morrison's Greenhouse and Flower Shop for 20 years, retiring in 1977.
Born Aug. 18, 1912, in Osceola, daughter of John E. and Esther Rowell Clemens, she graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1930 and Pulaski teachers training class in 1931.
She married Harold C. Morrison on Sept. 24, 1932. Mr. Morrison, retired Richland town clerk and tax collector, died Oct. 7, 1977. She married Clifton Porter in 1991. He died in 1993.
Mrs. Porter lived in Pulaski from 1932 to 1980, when she moved to Michigan. She spent winters in Florida, returning to Pulaski in 1994.
She was a member of Pulaski Baptist Church and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a son, Howard J. Morrison, Pulaski; a sister, Lois Gage, Camden, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Pulaski Baptist Church or Northern Oswego County Ambulance.
