Orla R. Skinner, 92, Springbrook Apartments, died Friday at her home.
Mrs. Skinner was a member of Park United Methodist Church and a past member of the Pulaski Civic Club and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.
She lived in Syracuse, McLean, East Hamilton, Parish, Conifer and Williamstown, moving to Pulaski in 1973. Her husband, the Rev. Stanley E. Skinner, was a Methodist minister from 1928 to 1982.
Born March 28, 1910, in Parish, daughter of William H. and Addie L. Hubbard Rood, she graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1927 and from Potsdam Normal School in 1931.
She married the Rev. Mr. Skinner on June 15, 1933, at Fernwood Methodist Episcopal Church. He died July 6, 1982.
Surviving are two sons, the Rev. Stanley Edward Skinner Jr., Schenectady, and Robert D. Skinner, McLean; two sisters, Laura James, Syracuse, and Anna Mae Reed, Tully, and two grandchildren.
Three brothers, Holland, William and Charles Rood, and two sisters, Elnora Rood and Nellie "Mag" Pearson, died before her.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Park United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marilyn Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Vernon Center Cemetery.
There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home.
