- Margaret M. Butler October 11, 2010 Margaret M. Butler, age 93, life resident of Pulaski, passed away Monday at University Hospital, Syracuse. Margaret was born on November 12, 1916, the daughter of James L. and Marie Hinman Manwaring. She graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1935. Margaret married Max Butler on July 7, 1935, he died December 30, 1996. Margaret was a member of the Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski, the Pulaski Tuesday Study Club. She also played the piano with a quartet and trio at various venues. She also played in golf leagues at the Elms. Surviving: two sons, James (Linda) Butler of Pulaski, Thomas (Beverly) Butler of Wilmington, NC; one sister-in-law, Christine Manwaring of Syracuse; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by one grandson, Thomas M. Butler Jr., and one brother, James Manwaring. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Park United Methodist Church, 2 Hubble Street, Pulaski, NY 13142 or to NOCA, 21 Delano Street, Pulaski, NY 13142. The family would like to give a special thanks to Celeste Carnes, Joni Scott, Kathy Larabee, and Thomas Jones for all of their help and support.
