Deceased Name: PAUL E. BARKER
Paul E. Barker, 81, of 141 Caster Road died Wednesday at Crouse Hospital.
He was born in Orwell and lived in Hastings and Mallory several years, moving to Pulaski in 1968.
He graduated from Pulaski Academy High School and attended Diesel Mechanics School in Los Angelos, Calif.
Mr. Barker was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired in 1978 after several years at the Central Square School District and also worked for the Oswego County Highway Department several years.
He and his wife, Audrey, also owned and operated the Mallory Hotel and a dairy farm several years.
Mr. Barker was a member of the Central Square American Legion and called square dances in the Oswego County area.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Judy Comstock of Central Square and Linda Sabin of Syracuse ; three sisters, Irene Cean of Watertown, Frances Failling of Brooksfield, Fla., and Dorothy Leach of Syracuse ; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, the Rev. Julie E. Calhoun Bryant officiating. Burial is in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, 52 Park St.
