Richard J. Salisbury, 60, of 571 County Route 62, died Sunday at his home.
Mr. Salisbury was employed by United Parcel Service, Syracuse, for the past 10 years. He previously owned and operated a long-haul trucking service for 23 years. He also owned and operated a dairy farm for 15 years.
Born Oct. 21, 1941, in the town of Richland, son of Charles and E. Catherine Frary Salisbury, he was a 1959 graduate of Pulaski Academy and Central School.
He married Barbara A. Kimball on Aug. 23, 1962.
A life resident of Pulaski, Mr. Salisbury was a member of Park United Methodist Church and Teamsters Local 317, Syracuse, and past master and member of Pulaski Grange 730.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, Brian J., Pulaski; a daughter, Jennine M. Johnson, Pulaski; his mother, the Rev. Catherine Salisbury, Pulaski; three brothers, Bruce F., Olathe, Kan., Donald C., McKinney, Texas, and David A., Madison, Ala.; two sisters, Marilyn L. Maurer, North Syracuse, and Lois C. Lehman, Tempe, Ariz., and seven grandchildren.
A brother, Warren, died Feb. 29, 1956.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
