Fred E. Wilson, 90, Pulaski, died Friday at St. Luke's Nursing Home, Oswego.
Mr. Wilson was a heavy-equipment operator and a member of Operating Engineers Local 545, Syracuse, for more than 50 years.
Born July 10, 1915, in Pulaski, son of Elmer and Hazel Wilson, he graduated in 1933 from Pulaski Academy High School, where he had served as class president.
A marriage ended in divorce.
He was a lifetime member of the Mad River Club, was a member of Ma Barkers' Cribbage League, Pulaski, and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time at his Tug Hill camp.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Paul and Sandra, Pulaski; three daughters and their husbands, Diane and Neal Ball, Salem, Va., Joene and Fred Burroughs, Blacksburg, Va., and Tanya and Ralph Mitchell, Salem, Va., 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marilyn Stevens, pastor of Park United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
A calling hour will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
