TERRY GRIFFITH DIES IN CAR CRASH

Terry M. Griffith, 34, of 2105 Little Canada Road, Central Square, formerly of Pulaski, was killed early Tuesday morning when his car struck a tree off Route 11 in the Oswego County town of Hastings.
State police said no skid marks were found at the accident scene, indicating he may have fallen asleep while driving. He was southbound on Route 11 when his car went off the road at about 2 a.m., troopers said.
Mr. Griffith was heading home after having been fishing with friends on Lake Ontario near the Pine Grove Road in the town of Richland, police said. He had been drinking a while with his friends, police said.
The funeral will be 12:30 p.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Central Square Little League, in care of Colleen Avery, Mr. Griffith's fiance, at 2105 Little Canada Road, Central Square.
Surviving are a daughter, Jessica L., Pulaski; his parents, Gerald and Betty Griffith, Pulaski; a brother, Marty, Pulaski; a nephew and several nieces.
Born in Oswego, Jan. 28, 1959, a son of Gerald and Betty Weisenburger Griffith, he graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1978.
Mr. Griffith was employed the past five years with Armstrong World Industries, Fulton, and previously was employed nine years with Pulaski Sales and Service.
He was a coach in the Central Square Little League.
Mr. Griffith was previously married.
