Funeral services for Ellen S. Davis, 72, of 172 Gulf Road, Colton, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Colton, with Rev. Bryan Stitt, pastor, presiding. Burial will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Robert of Colton; her sons, Thomas Davis of Seattle, Wash., and Peter Davis and his companion, Sue Johnson, of Canton; a daughter, Mrs. Phillip Barbara Remington of Parishville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sally McEvoy of Cambria, Calif.
She was born Dec. 31, 1936 in Syracuse, daughter of the late Hollis and Virginia Little Wilson. She graduated from Pulaski Academy Central and later from Canton ATC with a dietitian degree.
She worked for the Colton-Pierrepont Central School as the manager of the cafeteria for 20 years, retiring in 1991.
Along with traveling, she enjoyed reading, crocheting and tending to flower gardens.
