Madeline J. Thompson, 91, formerly of Pulaski, died Tuesday at Michaud Nursing Home, Fulton.
Mrs. Thompson was a licensed practical nurse for 10 years at Van Duyn Home, Syracuse, retiring in 1976, and was a member of the New York State LPN Association.
Born Aug. 14, 1911, in Elk Point, S.D., daughter of Frederick and Nina Palmer Johnson, she graduated from Pulaski Academy in 1928 and from Oswego Hospital in 1965 as an LPN. She also attended Central City Business Institute, Syracuse.
She lived in Fulton for many years, moving to Syracuse in 1965 and to Baldwinsville in 1995.
A marriage ended in divorce.
Surviving are a son, Robert J. Jr., Syracuse; three daughters, Shirley A. Davidson, Baldwinsville, Joanne M. Dittman, Zephyrhills, Fla., and Sandra A. Woodard, Oswego; two brothers, Robert and Albert Johnson, both of Pulaski; two sisters, Dorothy Tubbs and Alice Zufelt, both of Camillus, 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Park United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marilyn Stevens officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home.
