      Newspaper Obituary - Friday, January 18, 2002 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Florence E. Mowers G. E. Retiree - Florence E. Mowers, 78, of 257 North Road, County Route 62, died Wednesday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home, Oswego. Mrs. Mowers worked for General Electric Co., Syracuse for 40 years, retiring in 1985. Born February 11, 1923, in Syracuse, daughter of Frederick and Stella Delong Frank, she graduated in 1941 from Pulaski Academy High School. She married Ronald O. Mowers on October 4, 1947. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Kim E., Rowayton, Connecticut, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Marilyn Stevens officiating. Spring burial will be in Daysville Cemetery, town of Richland. A calling hour will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
