Arthur W. Morenus, 87, Dodge City, Kan., formerly of Pulaski, died Feb. 16 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home, Dodge City.
Mr. Morenus was a press photographer for the Dodge City Daily Globe for many years.
Born Dec. 22, 1916, in Pulaski, son of Orson and Nellie Mahaffy Morenus, he graduated from Pulaski Academy and served in the Army during World War II, serving in the Pacific theater with the signal corps and later with the Army Air Forces.
He married Lillian M. Zurbucken on Feb. 2, 1943, in Dodge City. She died Aug. 8, 1985.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Dodge City, and the Dodge City Noon Lions Club, and enjoyed fishing, golf, painting and drinking coffee.
Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Donna and Gary Murphy, Independence, Kan., two granddaughters and five great- granddaughters.
A private memorial service will be at a later date. The body was cremated.
Arrangements were with Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City.
