Dorothy L. Hastings, 97, of 34 S. Jefferson St., died Monday at Andrew Michaud Nursing Home, Fulton.
Mrs. Hastings was a lifelong resident of Pulaski. She taught for a year at Maple View School and was tax collector for Pulaski School for four years.
She was a member of Pulaski Congregational Church, Women's Pilgrim Guild and Pulaski Historical Society.
Born Feb. 15, 1906, in Pulaski, the youngest of six children of Dexter and Elizabeth Lane Lilley, she graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1925 and Pulaski Teachers Training Class in 1926.
She married Perry W. Hastings on Sept. 10, 1927, at Syracuse.
Surviving besides her husband are a son, David L., Pulaski; two daughters, Marilyn H. Lindenthal, Franklin, Mass., and Eleanor Ackermann, Schenectady, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Pulaski Cemetery with the Rev. James Tschudy officiating.
There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home.
