    • Orrillana "Orlie" Stewart Hungerford - died February 26, 1890, age 19 years. Son of Newton Isaac and Olive C. Stewart Hungerford.

      Newspaper Obituary - March 6, 1890 Daysville District - Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - It is with sadness that we record the death of Orla Hungerford, which occurred at his home here last Wednesday night. About four weeks ago he came home from Pulaski, where he was attending the academy, sick with what his parents supposed was la grippe, but which rapidly developed into typhoid fever. Dr. Low was the attending physician, and did the utmost in his power to save him. His death came like a shock upon the community here, so short a time before, he had been in his usual health, it seemed almost impossible to believe him dead. Orla was the only son of Newton and Olive Hungerford, and was in the 20th year of his age. Besides his parents, he leaves one sister, Miss Effie, to mourn his early death. His young friends in the place feel his death most keenly. The funeral was held from the house last Saturday, Rev. D. D. Owen, assisted by Rev. R. F. Whipple, officiating. Relatives from Utica were present.
