Janet B. Johnson, 86, of 15 Bentley Road, a life resident of Pulaski, died Tuesday at Oswego Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Monday Historical Club and Home Bureau and was an election inspector for many years.
Born May 7, 1920, in Pulaski, daughter of William K. and Winifred Davis Bentley, she graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1938 and attended Syracuse University School of Art.
She married Albert R. Johnson on Sept. 6, 1941, at her parents' home in Pulaski.
Surviving besides her husband are a son and his wife, Albert R. II and Debbie, Pulaski; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jean Nash Mathison and Chris Mathison, Phoenix, Ariz., Carol and Robert Dickson, Alden, and Gail Johnson, Pulaski; two sisters, Jean B. Jones, Poland, Ohio, and Dorothy B. Krespan, Wilmington, Del.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A sister, Winifred B. Evans, died in 2003.
The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Bridget McManus officiating.
Burial will be at the family's convenience.
A calling hour will begin at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Northern Oswego County Ambulance, Delano Street, Pulaski.
